The Finca

The finca of some 29000 sq. metres is situated on a plateau overlooking the Lecrin Valley.

There are two entrances off the 3300 road which can used as an in and out. An acequia runs along the edge of the finca and encourages the growth of the wild flowers such as bamboo, broome and scabious.

The grounds are planted with almonds, pines and olives. Closer to the house are various fruit trees. On the south side, the finca is bordered by a cliff edge along which are various viewing and sitting areas. A tree lined avenue edged with red oleanders allows car access around the hacienda.

The gardens

Around the house are a variety of flower beds and sitting areas.

The swimming pool

The pool is set apart from the house, raised up to enjoy the all round views. Surrounded by trees and vegetation, the area is private and peaceful, with plenty of shade provided.

The casita/workshop

Los Secanillos has its own well and water deposit.  There is a terrace above the deposit and a casita/workshop attached to it, in front of which is a shaded seating area.

The car park

There is a substantial parking area and additional overspill  on the meadow.
