The Exhibition/Concert Area

On the left side of the courtyard is a barn of 109 square metres, with high beamed ceiling and ceramic tiled floor. It opens onto the courtyard via three large retractable doors, ideal for entertaining, performances or exhibitions. There is a large stone fireplace at one end of the barn, used during winter evening events for the ambience. The area is actually centrally heated. At the other end of the barn, there is a mezzanine floor which acts as a viewing gallery during performances, library and additional bedroom. Below this is a shower room and dressing/storage room, which houses the spiral staircase to the area above. Large double barn doors provide an exit on the other side and access for deliveries and musical equipment etc. There is also wide screen television for sports events and cinema.

The current owners have hosted a number of of different events, involving many nationalities travelling from abroad, Granada and the coast, as well as locally. The natural light makes it particularly successful for art and photographic exhibitions and courses. Small groups of artists and photographers have spent time on the finca  drawing, painting and taking photographs.  Similarly, the accoustics are good for musical performances and poetry readings. The area also provides an ideal environment and setting for alternative therapies.

The hacienda is suitable for conferences, courses and as a restaurant, as well as offering accommodation.
